Sunrise on Wrightsville Beach!
Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina is a small barrier island adjacent to the Wilmington area, and it is one of the most popular of the North Carolina beaches.
Why?
Primarily because it is only a few hours drive from the Triangle (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill), but also because it is a beautiful beach, especially the far north and south ends of the island.
Unlike some of the North Carolina coast Wrightsville Beach actually runs from north to south, so the sunrises are amazing.
