Beaufort, North Carolina is one of our favorite get-away spots in the world.
Why?
Tons of reasons, and here are a few…
Beaufort is:
- An easy drive from home
- Friendly and welcoming
- Relatively affordable
- Pedestrian friendly
- A mecca for great food and drink
- Steeped in an island/Caribbean-type vibe
And, last but not least, Beaufort has amazing sunsets.
All the sunsets in the post were taken from the Inlet Inn, a small hotel at the corner of Front and Queen Streets, in the heart of Beaufort’s waterfront historic district.
Enjoy these shots and don’t hesitate to give us a call if you have any questions about Beaufort.

The Inlet Inn has a common balcony on the third floor that may be the highest point in town. Sunsets from this spot have to be some of the best in all of North Carolina.
