For the first time in three years, we are missing one of our favorite times at Walt Disney World…Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival.
We did have a great Disney experience this fall, but it was a little different and we’ll report on it soon, but first a roundup of information on Food & Wine 2016!
One of my favorite stops at Food & Wine
The Festival began on September 14th this year and runs until November 14th, so we’re right in the middle.
Lat year, we published Sipping and Snacking Around the World! Southern Girl Travel’s Quick Guide to Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival.
While this one was based on the 2015 Festival, all the tips and advice still apply, and we were fortunate enough to have input from one of our friends, clients, and fellow Food & Wine fan, Kim Hannum. Check it out!
One of Kim’s favorites (and ours) from Africa, read more
Our Sneak Peak and What’s New posts from last year should also come in handy.
Check out Disney’s official map and brochure for the Festival.
Eat to the Beat is Disney’s special live concert series during Food & Wine, and one of the highlights for Jenn and the kids. Last year, they we’re bopping around humming early 90s tunes from Wilson Phillips – the year before it was Air Supply.
Here’s the official Disney schedule for Eat to the Beat.
We have found The Disney Tourist Blog to be one of the most consistently useful unofficial Disney sites, and they always have thorough reporting on Food & Wine.
2016 Epcot Food & Wine Info & Tips is particularly helpful for this year’s Festival, but you can find all the Blog’s related posts here – make sure to check out the various booth menus available.
The Disney Food Blog also has good Food & Wine reporting, as does Undercover Tourist.
We’ve been lamenting our absence at this year’s Festival, and we’re already making plans for 2017. Until then, enjoy a few more photos from recent years:
And never forget to:
