Sunrise at Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina
We spend tons of time sifting through online travel information – it’s really one of the great joys of being in the travel business: learning about new places and experiences so that we can share them with our clients and friends. Here’s a collection of a few things we’ve found this week:
It’s a little counterintuitive, but we think the coast here in the southeast has some amazing sunsets. A more conventional (in this case, west coast) perspective would be to enjoy those southern coastal sunrises like the one above from Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. From Walking On Travels, here’s a postcard moment sunrise from Carolina Beach, North Carolina, a little south from Wrightsville.
Oh, and we definitely recommend getting up early at least some of the time when you’re traveling! Give it a shot and enjoy a sunset every now and then.
While we’re thinking beaches, check out some less well known spots in the Bahamas from Uncommon Caribbean: beautiful shot from a sand-bar lunch in the Abacos and an amazing blue-water shot from one of Jennifer’s new favorite places, the Exumas, and more specifically Blow Hole Cay.
From the Bahamas, let’s jump over to Orlando, Florida and Walt Disney World with a review of the Katsura Grill in Epcot’s Japanese Pavilion from the Disney Tourist Blog (best Disney photos online), and some thoughts on eating outdoors at Epcot’s Flower & Garden Show from Travelingmom.com.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions about visiting these any of these spots (and yes, a return trip to the Exumas is high on our list).
And never, ever forget to:
Relax…you CAN get there from here!
