Becket uses the force on some Stormtroopers!
Are your kids Star Wars fans?
Are you heading to Disney World soon?
Are you super-anxious about getting them a spot in Hollywood Studios’ Jedi Training Academy?
Don’t be…just Relax and follow these steps (if you’re wondering what is the Jedi Academy? check out Disney’s official site).
1. Use the force!
Stay calm and cool.
You will greatly increase your chances of snagging a spot for your budding young Jedis by relaxing and channeling some good thoughts…and you never know when Jedi mind tricks might help…you will get a spot at the Jedi Academy and these are not the droids you’re looking for.

2. Stay at a resort close to Hollywood Studios
The Jedi Training Academy is housed at Hollywood Studios.
The closer you are to Hollywood Studios the less transit time will be involved, and the better your chances will be at arriving before Hollywood Studios opens.
If you’re staying at the Boardwalk Inn, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Dolphin Hotel, or the Swan Hotel, you’ll have an easy walk to Hollywood Studios.

3. Take a trial run
Don’t make the day you want to get the kids signed up your first visit to Hollywood Studios.
We’re speaking from experience here…just ask Jenn. Hollywood Studios is pretty easy to figure out, but the more familiar you are with the layout the easier it will be.
Map out that route!
Give us a call if you have any questions on where exactly to go!
4. Get up early
This one’s a no-brainer, but don’t let it slip up on you.
The Jedi Training Academy is a first-come first- served experience at Disney, and the earlier you are there and in line the better your chances will be.
During peak Disney times, spaces fill up quickly.
5. Don’t forget the kids!
You’ll want to move fast, so the temptation will be to leave the kids behind. One of you could head for Hollywood Studios without the kids and the other one could consider taking the kids for a leisurely breakfast.
Don’t do it…you must have EACH KID present to get them signed up.
6. Don’t dilly-dally, get yourself in line
There will be a line to get into Hollywood Studios.
Show up BEFORE they open, and get in line early.
7. Don’t be bashful…RUN!
This will be easy since you mapped out your route the day before, but don’t be embarrassed, run a little.
At least walk fast.
More importantly:
Don’t take all this too seriously – you’re on vacation!
The Jedi Training Academy is great and your kids will love it.
But, there’s tons of other great things to do at Disney. If you don’t get a spot, you’ll catch it on your next trip.
Don’t forget to,
