Southern Coastal Sunsets!

With the possible exception of the west coast of Florida and the Florida Keys, most folks assume that dramatic sunrises will be the thing to catch along most of the Southeastern coast…sunrises kind of like this one at Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina:

But (east) coastal areas of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia, are loaded with barrier islands, sounds, creeks, and rivers, along with unusual coastline areas that make for amazing sunsets.

So, when you’re traveling the coastal south, keep your eye out for those western facing views that might just produce an amazing sunset.
