Sharing that first family trip – the honeymoon – has been one of our favorite parts of being in the travel business. While the years keep adding to the distance between our own honeymoon and now, we can’t help but smile when we get involved with new honeymoons.
As a photographer, our friend Sonya Christian gets to see and participate in those family beginnings regularly, too.

On our first visit to the Poly back in 2011
The Polynesian Village Resort was our first family home-away-from-home at Walt Disney World. It was the perfect spot for me. I arrived a Walt Disney World skeptic and left a raving fan.
While we remain big fans of the Polynesian, the Poly has been in the midst of some major construction projects the last year or so, and we have not stayed there since our first visit.

We’re moving into cooler months. For many of us that means daydreaming about (and planning trips to) warmer spots, further south.
Jennifer just returned from yet another trip to Caribbean without me, which is becoming an all too common occurrence. She had a ball visiting a number of spots around Jamaica, and she began her trip in Montego Bay.
Montego Bay, Jamaica is one of the commercial and cultural hubs of the western Caribbean.
